A major factor in good therapy is good assessment. My doctoral training and clinical experience enable me to assess each person’s difficulties from a number of different theoretical perspectives. This allows me to take an holistic approach and to suggest which type of therapy is most likely to be effective for that particular person, based on their specific needs and the current research evidence. By integrating different therapies I am able to provide the most appropriate treatment tailored to the individual and their presenting issues, rather than pursuing a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Assessments are usually double sessions.
